Jim was in bed, listening to "Brown Sugar" by The Rolling Stones. He wondered if there was anyone worth dealing with that wouldn't know who did this song. If there were, well he would deal with that later. But he had more important things to do, miles to go before he slept in the sand. But what were these important things?, wondered Jim. He had made a mental list of these things before listening to "Brown Sugar," but by the time it ended, with Keith Richards doing that uber-Chuck Berry riff at the end of the song, Jim had plum-forgot what these things were. Is it "plum-forgot" or "plumb-forgot?" Jim wondered. Then, as he thought about this, he realized it was almost the end of the summer, and he hadn't eaten one goddamn plum.
